DISCO's high-end HIC vessel plates are used in key parts of an oil storage tank project in Abu Dhabi

On November 6, the first batch of high-end HIC corrosion-resistant pressure vessel steel plate SA516Gr60N (HIC) produced by HISCO WISCO for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company was loaded and shipped on schedule, and will be used in the key parts of an oil storage tank project in an oil field.

Since the steel is used in acidic environment and the thickness reaches 40mm, the customer's performance requirements for the product are quite harsh, and the delivery cycle is relatively short, which makes the production assurance process more complicated.
In view of the customer's higher requirements for the steel plate required for the project in terms of variety quality and comprehensive service capacity, Dance Steel import and export marketing services technical team took the initiative to communicate with the customer in depth, to provide it with better comprehensive services; for the production of the steel technical difficulties, give full play to its technological strengths, make every effort to organize research and carry out in-depth technical exchanges in the early stage, and optimize and improve the production process of the steel plate in a targeted manner. Especially in order to meet the strict requirement that the length of single crack shall not exceed 5mm in HIC test, WISCO further optimizes the process parameters of steel plate, organizes smelting in strict accordance with the internal control requirements, and accurately controls the content of hazardous elements, which ensures high quality and timely delivery of the product.
At present, this batch of products has passed the factory inspection and product quality certification of three third-party inspection companies one by one.
