2 Moon 2 On [date], Liu Jian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, presided over a study session of the Group’s Party Committee’s theoretical study center group. He emphasized the need to earnestly study and implement the important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping, comprehensively, deeply, and accurately understand and grasp the strategic arrangements made at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and adhere to the direction of “high-end, intelligent, green, integrated, and international.” We must continuously enhance our capabilities and strengthen our practical skills, resolutely and effectively carry out the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party committee and provincial government, ensure a solid start for the Group during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and contribute even greater strength to vigorously writing the Hebei chapter of Chinese-style modernization.
Wang Lanyu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, along with other members of the Party Committee’s central study group, attended the meeting. The Chairman of the Group’s Trade Union, Group Directors, and responsible officials from the Party and Mass Work departments also attended the meeting as observers.
At the meeting, members of the Party Committee’s central study group focused on studying the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the special seminar for principal leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial levels on studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, as well as the spirit of the provincial Two Sessions and the Sixth Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection. Meanwhile, in accordance with the requirements of the Party Committee of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, they also diligently studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution, his important instructions on state-owned asset and state-owned enterprise work, and such documents as the “Disciplinary Regulations of the Communist Party of China” and the “Several Provisions on Honest Conduct for Leaders of State-owned Enterprises.”
Liu Jian emphasized that we must earnestly study and implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping, fully, deeply, and accurately understand and grasp the strategic arrangements made at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and promote the effective implementation of all requirements within the Group with a spirit of perseverance and determination. We must profoundly grasp the rich implications, essential essence, and practical requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, comprehensively, deeply, and accurately understand and master the strategic arrangements for the 15th Five-Year Plan, and adhere to the guiding principles of “high-end development, intelligentization, green development, integration, and internationalization” as we formulate and implement the Group’s 15th Five-Year Plan with high quality. We must fully, accurately, and comprehensively implement the new development philosophy, uphold and strengthen the Party’s overall leadership, firmly establish and practice the correct view of political achievements, continuously enhance our capabilities and practical skills, and solidly ensure that the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee are consistently carried through and effectively implemented throughout the Group.
Liu Jian emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution, fully carry out the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Sixth Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, and promote the deepening of comprehensive and strict governance over the Party. We must resolutely put into practice the key requirements of “five further enhancements” in advancing the Party’s self-revolution, consistently uphold a tone of strictness, adopt stringent measures, and foster an atmosphere of rigor. We should consolidate and expand the achievements of study and education, improve mechanisms for the allocation and oversight of power, deepen the integrated investigation and treatment of both corruption and misconduct, and promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of conduct-building efforts, thereby providing strong guarantees for the high-quality development of the group.
Liu Jian emphasized the need to resolutely and effectively implement the deployment requirements of the provincial Two Sessions, ensuring a strong start and steady progress during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. We must closely focus on the key objectives for our province’s economic and social development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period as well as this year’s six priority areas, vigorously promoting the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, accelerating the application of large-scale vertical models in the steel industry, consolidating our leading edge in green and low-carbon development, continuously enhancing the competitiveness of our core steel business, and fostering and expanding strategic emerging industries. This will ensure that the group achieves a solid start during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and contribute even greater strength to energetically writing the Hebei chapter of Chinese-style modernization.

Through face-to-face discussions, they aligned with customer needs, deepened collaborative ties, and expanded avenues for cooperation.
On the afternoon of August 18, Lu Jiangguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation to visit a leading client in the chemical and energy engineering design sector. The two sides held an in-depth symposium to jointly explore collaborative development models across the industrial chain, further expand opportunities for cooperation in high-end steel applications, and deepen their strategic dialogue.
On the morning of August 18, Lu Jiangguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation to visit a leading enterprise in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector, where they held a symposium to discuss collaborative development across the industrial chain and explore new avenues for deepened cooperation.
On August 12, Liu Jian, Chairman of the Group, and Qi Mengdao, Global President of Industrial Furnaces at Andritz Group, held a working discussion at the Group’s headquarters to explore new avenues for cooperation and forge a win-win future.
