12 Moon 4 On [date], Lu Jianguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Wugang Company of HBIS Group, presided over a special study seminar for the Party Committee’s theoretical study center group of Wugang Company. He emphasized that we must integrate in-depth study and thorough comprehension of Xi Jinping’s economic thought with the study and implementation of the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party. We should closely focus on the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the provincial party committee, and scientifically plan and formulate [plans]. “ Fifteen five ” We will meticulously plan and rigorously ensure the effective implementation of all tasks at every stage, continuously forging a new chapter of high-quality development for Wugang Company and making new and greater contributions to building a leading, highly competitive thick-plate enterprise.

At the meeting, members of the study group focused on studying selected chapters from Volume I of "Selected Works on Xi Jinping’s Economic Thought," the important remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour in Guangdong, the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Ideological and Political Work," and the spirit of the Ninth Plenary Session of the Tenth Provincial Party Committee. Building on their prior self-study, participants delivered oral or written statements centered on studying and implementing Xi Jinping’s economic thought, sharing their insights and discussing specific implementation measures.
Lu Jianguang emphasized that we must deeply understand... “ Two Establishments ” Decisive significance, resolutely achieve it. “ Two Upholdings ” At a high level, we must study and make good use of Volume I of “Selected Works on Xi Jinping’s Economic Thought,” deeply grasp the core essence and spiritual substance of Xi Jinping’s economic thought, enhance our theoretical confidence in using the Party’s innovative theories to analyze the situation, respond to challenges, and solve difficult problems, and continuously improve our ability and competence in carrying out production and business operations. We should integrate in-depth study and understanding of Xi Jinping’s economic thought with studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and closely focus on scientifically planning and formulating strategies in accordance with the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee. “ Fifteen five ” Planning—especially in areas such as equipment upgrades, digital transformation, and intelligent development—must be prominently strengthened. “ Fifteen five ” Ensure the completeness, integrity, and systematic nature of top-level planning and design; implement tasks with a "nailing down" spirit; and continuously open up new prospects for high-quality development of Wugang Company.
Lu Jianguang emphasized that we must fully implement the spirit of the 9th Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial Party Committee with more pragmatic measures and accurately grasp... “ Fifteen five ” The primary goals and key tasks for economic and social development during this period highlight the sense of responsibility and commitment of state-owned enterprises. We must comprehensively prepare next year’s budget, accelerate the implementation of short-, medium-, and quick-impact projects, refine our smart planning approach, and consistently promote the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, thereby earnestly putting these principles into practice. “ Four Extremes ” We must emancipate our minds, benchmark against world-class standards, and strive vigorously to ensure the effective implementation of all tasks at every stage. We should focus even more on cost control, production-line efficiency, marketing, and price enhancement; strengthen innovation-driven development; firmly safeguard our risk bottom lines; and make concerted efforts to improve the profitability of our production lines, thereby making new and greater contributions to building ourselves into a leading, highly competitive enterprise in the wide-plate sector.
Lu Jianguang emphasized that we must recognize the significant importance of the issuance of the Regulations from an even higher perspective, deeply understand the extreme importance of ideological and political work, and, with a high degree of ideological awareness and a strong sense of responsibility, carry out solid ideological and political work in the new era, thereby providing robust political and ideological support for the high-quality development of Wugang Company. We must pay close attention to strengthening our grasp of the Party’s innovative theories, adopt targeted approaches tailored to different fields, and integrate ideological and political work closely with addressing practical issues in production and operations. We must uphold and strengthen the Party’s overall leadership, strictly implement the accountability system for ideological work, reinforce team and platform building, and promote ideological and political work to become regular, long-term, and effective.

On the afternoon of August 18, Lu Jiangguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation to visit a leading client in the chemical and energy engineering design sector. The two sides held an in-depth symposium to jointly explore collaborative development models across the industrial chain, further expand opportunities for cooperation in high-end steel applications, and deepen their strategic dialogue.
On the morning of August 18, Lu Jiangguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation to visit a leading enterprise in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector, where they held a symposium to discuss collaborative development across the industrial chain and explore new avenues for deepened cooperation.
On August 12, Liu Jian, Chairman of the Group, and Qi Mengdao, Global President of Industrial Furnaces at Andritz Group, held a working discussion at the Group’s headquarters to explore new avenues for cooperation and forge a win-win future.
