A number of HBIS technical achievements were selected into the list of "Science and Technology Innovation China"

Recently, the 2021 "Science and Technology Innovation China" list was announced. HBIS 5G+ smart steel industrial park, safety production management information system, intelligent environmental protection integration platform, industrial digital twin management system and other 6 technical achievements were selected into the "Science and Technology Innovation China" intelligent manufacturing technology application case database, setting an industry benchmark with strength and providing a high-quality case reference for the intelligent upgrading and transformation of the manufacturing industry.
"Science and Technology Innovation China" is an innovation, entrepreneurship and creation service platform widely participated by the China Association for Science and Technology, and is an "accelerator" that catalyzes the integration and development of science and technology economy. The platform aims to accelerate the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements by focusing on the multi-party strength of production, education and research, explore technical achievements with industry-leading significance and broad application prospects, and screen the key core technologies to solve the "stuck neck" problem.

Recently, the results of the 2026 Metallurgical Science and Technology Awards were announced. The project “Development and Application of Key Technologies for High-Strength, Tough, Extra-Thick Steel Plates for Marine Equipment,” jointly submitted by Wugang Company and Northeastern University, was awarded the Grand Prize, marking a major breakthrough for China in the field of critical materials for marine engineering.
