On March 23, Lu Jiangguang, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, chaired a special study and discussion session of the company’s Party Committee Theoretical Study Center. He emphasized the need to elevate political awareness, resolutely and effectively implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee as well as the requirements set forth at the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Group meeting on studying and implementing the spirit of the Two Sessions, and demonstrate unwavering support for the “two establishments” and firm commitment to the “two safeguards” through concrete actions. It is essential to make meticulous organizational arrangements and ensure that all tasks related to study and education are fully and faithfully carried out. The study and implementation of the spirit of the Two Sessions should be closely integrated with the campaign to foster and practice a correct view of official achievements, so as to swiftly ignite a company-wide upsurge of studying the spirit, translating it into action, and driving development, thereby creating a strong atmosphere and pooling the powerful collective strength of all employees to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship. Above all, we must remain performance-oriented and, through hard work and tangible results, open up a new chapter of high-quality development for Wugang Company.
Members of the Theoretical Study Center Group of the Party Committee of Wugang Company attended the meeting. Assistants to the General Manager, Deputy Chief Engineers, and responsible officials from the Party and Mass Work Department of Wugang Company were present as non-voting attendees.
During the meeting, members of the central study group conducted a集中学习 session on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements, the “Notice on Launching Study and Education on Establishing and Practicing a Correct View of Official Achievements Throughout the Party,” the spirit of the Meeting of the Leading Group for Party Building under the CPC Central Committee, the spirit of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, the spirit of the Fourth Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and the spirit of the expanded meeting of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee. Focusing on studying and implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements, and closely linking these with their own ideological and practical work, each member delivered either an oral or written statement, sharing their insights from the study and outlining specific measures for implementation, thereby deepening their ideological understanding and solidifying their ideological foundation.
Lu Jianguang emphasized the need to elevate our political stance and resolutely and effectively implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee. Launching, across the entire Party, study and education on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements is a major strategic deployment made by the Party Central Committee with a holistic view of the cause of the Party and the country. It bears profound significance for ensuring a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period and for advancing comprehensive and strict governance of the Party. Party organizations at all levels must deeply grasp its political implications, earnestly study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on establishing and practicing a correct view of official achievements, and ensure thorough implementation through a high degree of political, ideological, and practical consciousness. This year’s Two Sessions coincide with the crucial juncture of concluding the 14th Five-Year Plan and launching the 15th Five-Year Plan; General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important remarks provide us with the fundamental guiding principles. All levels of the company must swiftly align their thinking and actions with the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, resolutely implement the requirements set forth at the Hebei Provincial and Group-level meeting for leading cadres on studying and implementing the spirit of the Two Sessions, and, through concrete actions, firmly uphold the “two establishments” and steadfastly practice the “two safeguards.”
Lu Jianguang emphasized the need for meticulous organization and deployment to ensure that all tasks related to the study and education campaign are fully implemented. This campaign must be treated as a key priority for Party building this year, with strict adherence to its overarching requirements. Efforts should be made to rigorously and practically carry out study and discussion, problem identification, rectification and improvement, institutional development, and open-door education. It is essential to uphold high standards and stringent requirements, focusing on in-depth study and thorough understanding, as well as rigorous inspection and concrete corrective action, to achieve tangible results. Careful planning and deployment are required, coupled with strengthened publicity and guidance, effective accountability, and a commitment to conducting education in an open and transparent manner, so that the general public can truly feel the positive changes taking place. At the same time, the study and implementation of the spirit of the Two Sessions must be closely integrated with the campaign to establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, thereby swiftly generating a company-wide upsurge of studying the spirit, translating it into concrete actions, and promoting development. This will help create a strong atmosphere, pool the collective strength of all employees to pursue entrepreneurship and work diligently, and ensure that the spirit of the CPC Central Committee takes root and yields visible results within the company.
Lu Jianguang emphasized the need to place performance at the forefront and, through practical and effective work, usher in a new phase of high-quality development for the company. This performance-oriented approach must be integrated throughout the entire process of study and education, fostering and putting into practice a correct view of political achievements. We must stay firmly focused on the company’s 15th Five-Year Plan goals and strategies, maintain strategic resolve, and ensure that the blueprint is pursued to the very end. Greater efforts must be made to uphold truth from facts and pursue genuine, pragmatic results, thoroughly implementing the company’s “1144” working framework, achieving the “four breakthroughs,” delivering the “four extremes,” and earnestly carrying out the thematic campaign “Consolidate Dual Improvements and Achieve a Strong Start” as well as the initiative “Transform Work Styles, Build a Positive Image, Strengthen Implementation, and Deliver Results.” All levels of the organization must work in unison, break with convention, and concentrate on advancing the “three transformations”—high-endization, intelligentization, and greenization—to revitalize and enhance the competitiveness of the steel core business. We must make full use of the Group’s innovation resources to empower the R&D of high-end products and develop cutting-edge, precision, and sophisticated offerings. At the same time, we should seize the opportunity presented by the Group’s promotion of large-model applications to substantially raise the level of automation, achieve superior performance metrics, generate better economic returns, and effectively translate the outcomes of study and education into concrete, tangible results that drive the company’s high-quality development.

After ten years of intensive research and sustained efforts, the project has successfully overcome the challenges in producing high-strength, tough, extra-thick steel plates—materials essential for building such national strategic assets as ultra-large deepwater drilling platforms, massive wind‑farm installation vessels, and 10,000‑meter‑class submersibles.
