On February 10, Lu Jianguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Wugang Company of HBIS Group, presided over a study session of the Party Committee’s theoretical study group at Wugang Company. He emphasized the need to earnestly study and implement the important speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping, thoroughly, deeply, and accurately understand and grasp the strategic arrangements made at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, continuously enhance our capabilities and practical skills, and resolutely and effectively carry out all decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the provincial Party committee and provincial government, and the Group itself. This will ensure that Wugang Company gets off to a strong start during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and contribute even greater strength to energetically writing a new chapter for Wugang in the cause of Chinese-style modernization.
Members of the Party Committee’s Theoretical Study Center of Wugang Company attended the meeting. Assistant to the General Manager of Wugang Company, Deputy Chief Engineer, and responsible comrades from the Party and Mass Work departments were invited to the meeting as observers.
At the meeting, members of the Party Committee’s central study group of Wugang Company, building on their prior individual self-study, collectively studied the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the opening ceremony of the special seminar for leading cadres at provincial and ministerial levels on studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, as well as the spirit of the provincial Two Sessions and the Sixth Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection. Meanwhile, in accordance with the requirements of the Party Committee of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and the Group’s Party Committee, they also diligently studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution, his important instructions on state-owned asset and state-owned enterprise work, and such documents as the “Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China” and the “Several Provisions on Honest Conduct for Leading Personnel of State-Owned Enterprises.”
Lu Jianguang emphasized that we must earnestly study and implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping, thoroughly, deeply, and accurately grasp and understand the strategic arrangements made at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and promote the effective implementation of all requirements within the company with a spirit of perseverance and determination. We must profoundly comprehend the rich implications, essential principles, and practical requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, fully, deeply, and accurately grasp the strategic arrangements for the 15th Five-Year Plan, and formulate and implement the company’s 15th Five-Year Plan with high quality. We must comprehensively, accurately, and fully implement the new development philosophy, uphold and strengthen the Party’s overall leadership, continuously enhance our capabilities and competence, and firmly ensure that the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee are consistently carried through and effectively implemented within the company.
Lu Jianguang emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on the Party’s self-revolution, fully carry out the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Sixth Plenary Session of the 10th Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, and push forward the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party in greater depth. We must resolutely implement the important requirement of “further strengthening the five aspects” in promoting the Party’s self-revolution, consistently uphold a tone of strictness, adopt stringent measures, and foster a rigorous atmosphere. We should consolidate and expand the achievements of study and education, improve mechanisms for the allocation and oversight of power, deepen the integrated investigation and treatment of both corruption and misconduct, and promote the normalization and long-term effectiveness of conduct-building efforts, thereby providing strong guarantees for the high-quality development of Wugang Company.
Lu Jianguang emphasized the need to resolutely and effectively implement the deployment requirements of the provincial two sessions, as well as those of the Group and the company’s two sessions, ensuring a solid start and steady progress during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. We must deeply put into practice the “1144” working approach, break through the “four barriers,” pursue the “four extremes,” transform our work style, and strengthen our sense of responsibility and commitment. Upholding the work ethos of “persistence, practicality and rigor, meticulous management, and learning and innovation,” we should intensify efforts in scientific and technological innovation, automation upgrades, and green development. We must fully leverage the Group’s innovative resources and platforms to continuously boost our development momentum. We should focus on driving the transformation of steel products from the “raw material level” to the “material level,” step up R&D efforts for high-end products, develop more cutting-edge, high-precision new products, and continually enhance the technological content and added value of our offerings. We should seize the opportunity presented by the Group’s promotion of large-model applications, proactively engage with these initiatives, and gradually raise the automation level at Wugang Company. We must accelerate the advancement of green energy projects, continuously enhance the competitiveness of our core steel business, foster and expand strategic emerging industries, set higher standards for all aspects of our work, achieve better economic outcomes through superior performance indicators, and provide strong support for the Group’s successful start to the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

On August 19, Lu Jiangguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Wugang Company under HBIS Group, led a delegation to visit a high-end client in the construction engineering sector and a leading enterprise in the large‑scale supply chain services field. Through face-to-face discussions, they aligned with customer needs, deepened collaborative ties, and expanded avenues for cooperation.
On the afternoon of August 18, Lu Jiangguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation to visit a leading client in the chemical and energy engineering design sector. The two sides held an in-depth symposium to jointly explore collaborative development models across the industrial chain, further expand opportunities for cooperation in high-end steel applications, and deepen their strategic dialogue.
On the morning of August 18, Lu Jiangguang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation to visit a leading enterprise in the high-end equipment manufacturing sector, where they held a symposium to discuss collaborative development across the industrial chain and explore new avenues for deepened cooperation.
On August 12, Liu Jian, Chairman of the Group, and Qi Mengdao, Global President of Industrial Furnaces at Andritz Group, held a working discussion at the Group’s headquarters to explore new avenues for cooperation and forge a win-win future.
