Liu Jian emphasized that, 2026 This year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period and is also a crucial year for HBIS Group to accelerate its transformation and upgrading and achieve high-quality development. Liu Jian emphasized the need to fully tap into the potential on both the manufacturing and sales ends, further reducing costs and raising selling prices. Reducing costs and increasing selling prices are two crucial indicators for enterprises to achieve better profitability. We must firmly establish the mindset that “any target that cannot be met must have its root cause identified within ourselves.” We should conduct another round of “health checks” on all current targets, revisiting last year’s efforts once again. While maintaining the overall direction, we should pay even closer attention to details and systematically reduce costs. We must further increase the proportion of end customers, continuously stepping up our efforts in enhancing the customer service system, ensuring product quality stability, and improving delivery capabilities, thereby generating greater benefits for HBIS Group through orders that offer even more value.
Liu Jian emphasized the need to further highlight performance orientation and achieve a dual enhancement of enterprise efficiency and employee income. We must adhere to the principles of "strong incentives and strict constraints," further underscore performance orientation, strengthen performance management for all employees, fully implement the "one person, one form" and "racehorse" mechanisms, as well as the excess profit-sharing system. In particular, we should align our research achievements with the group’s established goals for creating economic value, ensuring that these achievements translate into enhanced production-line efficiency. We must also focus on accelerating the shift from “localized intelligence” to “comprehensive, all-domain intelligence,” deepening the R&D and application of large-scale vertical models in the steel industry. By making our internal business operations even stronger, we can lay a solid foundation for expanding into broader social markets, develop a specialized growth model, intensify benchmarking efforts, improve performance, and turn these areas into new drivers of high-quality development and strategic pillars for HBIS Group.
Liu Jian emphasized the need to strengthen production, operations, and risk management at overseas companies, ensuring that overseas enterprises maintain sound development. We must innovate international cooperation models, deepen international capacity cooperation, bolster overseas resource security, and comprehensively build a globalized operational system that is safe, efficient, and sustainable. We should remain aligned with the Group’s strategic direction, enhance our management and operational capabilities, proactively identify and address major risk factors, continuously improve business performance and competitiveness, and create more landmark projects of high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Liu Jian emphasized the need to spare no effort in strengthening safety and environmental protection work, ensuring sustained, healthy, safe, and stable development. We must uphold the interests of both employees and the enterprise, firmly implement our responsibilities, and maintain unwavering vigilance in safety and environmental protection efforts, effectively solidifying our safety and environmental protection defenses. On March 18, Lu Jiangguang, General Manager of Wugang Company under Hebei Iron and Steel Group, led a delegation on a visit to a leading enterprise in the petrochemical engineering construction sector.
