On the morning of April 23, Lu Jiangguang, General Manager of Wugang Company under HBIS Group, led a delegation on a visit to a key customer in the shipbuilding industry. The two sides held a symposium to discuss topics such as ensuring the supply of steel plates, developing high-end products, and expanding future cooperation. Long Jie, Deputy General Manager of Wugang Company, accompanied the delegation, and relevant heads from the Marketing Management Department, Sales Department, and Technology Department also attended the visit.
During the symposium, a senior executive of the client extended a warm welcome to Lu Jiangguang and his delegation, while fully endorsing Wugang’s brand strength and service standards. He emphasized that, as a leading domestic producer of wide and thick plates, Wugang delivers products with reliable performance that closely align with the client’s production requirements. He further stated: “We have been deeply engaged in the shipbuilding industry for many years, accumulating extensive experience and establishing significant industry influence in the construction of relevant vessel types. Leveraging the overall strategic positioning of our parent group, we are currently steadily advancing our LNG dual-fuel vessel business, with consistent and stable demand for low-temperature steel plates such as 9Ni steel. We look forward to further deepening our cooperation with Wugang, capitalizing on the respective strengths of both parties, expanding the scope of collaboration, enhancing its quality and effectiveness, and achieving mutual progress and win-win outcomes.”
Lu Jiangguang expressed his appreciation for the client company’s remarkable achievements. He noted that Wugang, as a leading benchmark enterprise in China’s special steel industry, has accumulated profound technical expertise and robust production capabilities in low-temperature steels such as 9Ni steel and high-manganese steel, and has already achieved major breakthroughs, including the successful application of high-manganese steel on actual vessels. In addressing matters related to the cooperation between the two parties, Wugang has consistently attached great importance, establishing dedicated task forces to carry out specific initiatives, continuously strengthening end-to-end production control, and steadily enhancing product quality stability—thereby laying a solid foundation for deepening collaboration. Looking ahead, Wugang will remain customer-centric, fully leveraging its technological and capacity advantages, optimizing supply processes, intensifying communication and coordination, and actively expanding cooperation into additional product categories such as 5Ni steel and stainless steel, thereby helping customers reduce procurement costs and ensure stable supply.
